Utah Award Honors Industrial Supply HR Vice President Chad Littlefield
Chad Littlefield, Vice President of Human Resources and People Solutions at Industrial Supply Company, will be honored as one of Utah’s top human resources professionals at this year’s HR Achievement Awards. Organized by Utah Business and the Utah Affiliate of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), this annual event recognizes individuals who are changing the way Utah’s businesses hire, develop, nurture, and retain their employees.
With more than twenty-five years of human resources experience within the manufacturing, distribution, and service industries, Littlefield has a deep understanding of what it takes to build and maintain a diverse and committed workforce. Since joining Industrial Supply in 2014, he has been instrumental in establishing an HR department that is committed to the success of its employees, and that strives to create an inclusive company that reflects the communities it serves.
“We are thrilled that Utah Business and Utah SHRM are recognizing Chad as an HR leader,” said Industrial Supply CEO Chris Bateman. “This past year, HR management was more important than ever, and Chad’s experience, preparation, and expertise were critical factors in our ability to meet our business goals.”
Shawn Newell, Vice President of Business Development, noted that during Littlefield’s time at Industrial Supply, he has significantly expanded on the company’s commitment to building a diverse workforce and an inclusive company culture, both of which have kept the company relevant over its 105-year history.
“Four years ago, Utah Business presented Industrial Supply with the Utah Business Diversity Award. It is fitting that they now are recognizing Chad, whose department actively fosters a diverse workforce at all levels of our company,” said Newell.
Littlefield directs all human resources functions for Industrial Supply, which has nearly 200 employees working in three states and seven locations throughout the Intermountain West. He will be honored at the HR Achievement Awards event on June 8, 2021 at The Grand America Hotel.
