AD Finalizes supplyFORCE Acquisition
AD is announcing today that it has closed its acquisition of supplyFORCE, effective September 24, 2026.
Bill Weisberg, AD Chairman and CEO shared his thoughts on the transaction:
“It is with enormous gratitude that we extend our thanks to the AD LLC and supplyFORCE Boards of Directors for their leadership as we worked through the details of the acquisition. A Joint Special Committee, comprised of representatives from both Boards, met for months to guide our process. The committee represented the interests of both parties, ultimately resulting in both Boards voting unanimously for the transaction, followed by an overwhelmingly favorable vote by supplyFORCE shareholders.
We are equally grateful for the contributions and support of both AD and supplyFORCE leaders who worked tirelessly to ensure that the process of bringing together both organizations was executed in a manner that represents the best interest of its shareholders, members, supplier partners, associates, and the National Account Customers that count on supplyFORCE to deliver great service.”
Over 80 new associates will join AD as a result of the transaction and will continue to operate supplyFORCE as a value-added program similar to the AD eCommerce, AD Center for Independent Leadership, and other innovative programs that are part of the organization’s menu of optional value-added services offered to its membership.
John Harman, President of The Kendall Group and supplyFORCE Chairman, added:
“Finalizing the acquisition was the first step in helping AD to continue to invest in solutions that allow AD Members to compete more effectively in the markets they serve. AD is well-positioned to make the necessary investments in technically advanced solutions that allow members to seamlessly compete in large, multi-site customer opportunities.
We are excited about the future and look forward to supporting the AD Leadership Team as they integrate supplyFORCE into the organization and expand the program to better serve our core customers.”
The supplyFORCE acquisition marks AD’s 18th transaction with fellow member-owned groups and builds upon a successful track record of integrating and executing strategies that leverage AD’s multiple industry scale to bring new opportunities to its members and supplier partners.
