Stanion Golf Classic Surpasses $2 Million Raised for Special Olympics Kansas

Pratt, Kan. – Stanion Wholesale Electric Co. is proud to announce that the 2026 Stanion Golf Classic raised $130,700 for Special Olympics Kansas, pushing the tournament's lifetime fundraising total to more than $2 million.

For more than a quarter century, the Stanion Golf Classic has been about more than golf. It has been about creating opportunities, building relationships, and supporting an organization that changes lives every day. Reaching the $2 million milestone is a testament to the generosity of those who have supported the tournament throughout its history and to the lasting impact those contributions have made for Special Olympics Kansas athletes and their families.

During his 15 years as Tournament Director, Romme played a pivotal role in growing the event and strengthening the partnerships that helped make this historic milestone possible. His legacy continues to be reflected in the tournament's enduring success and impact.
