A-D’s mission is to increase the market share and profitability

of our Affiliates and Suppliers

 

Statement of Values

 

In pursuit of our mission, A-D is committed to the following eight values:

  1. Respecting and supporting the independence of each local Affiliate and maximizing Affiliate involvement in A-D decisions via Networks, Committees, and A-D’s Board of Directors
  2. Conducting our operations with maximum efficiency, responsiveness, and focus
  3. Assuring that all aspects of our business conduct and decisions will be based on a commitment to excellence and a commitment to value the long-term over the expedient
  4. Conducting our business in a professional and ethical manner, while adhering to all applicable legal requirements
  5. Respecting and supporting our Suppliers’ individual strengths in the marketplace
  6. Respecting and supporting the role of our Suppliers’ local representatives
  7. Supporting industry-wide initiatives and trade association activities which allow for greater efficiencies, standardization and general education and which avoid redundancies with activities better served elsewhere in the channel.
  8. Providing for continuous improvement based on Affiliate and Supplier input

  1. Building on our position as North America’s leading marketing group by having local market coverage in each of the top 200 North American markets and additional markets of emerging importance to our Suppliers, with distributors who:
    1. Are local market leaders in the industries we cover
    2. Are professionally managed, marketing oriented, and financially strong
    3. Demonstrate commitment to A-D’s mission via:
      • Joint planning
      • A focused sales and marketing effort with A-D Suppliers
      • Participation in A-D programs appropriate for their customer segment
  2. Forging long-term, mutually beneficial, marketing partnerships with a limited number of leading Suppliers who:
    1. Best satisfy the needs of the maximum number of Affiliates
    2. Provide quality products, policies and local representation
    3. Demonstrate commitment to A-D's mission via:
      • Joint planning
      • A focused sales and marketing effort with A-D Affiliates
      • Participation in A-D programs
      • A profit enhancement program commensurate with the value we provide
  3. Enhancing the relationships that exist among our Affiliates, Suppliers and their local representatives by:
    1. Facilitating the lawful exchange of information
    2. Providing forums for personal contact and learning
    3. Developing innovative and value-added market programs and services
    4. Providing timely, concise and accurate information to assist in the successful implementation and management of A-D programs and activities
  4. Developing and conducting value-added programs which:
    1. Drive profitable growth
    2. Increase Affiliate and Supplier market intelligence
    3. Address the needs of the core and growth market segments served by our Affiliates and Suppliers
    4. Efficiently generate operating and transaction cost reductions
    5. Allocate cost to appropriate program beneficiaries
    6. Provide A-D Suppliers with an opportunity to play a supportive or featured role whenever applicable
  5. Measuring success by the ability of our Affiliates and Suppliers to grow their A-D sales volume at a rate which exceeds overall industry growth
